One of the best opportunities for getting to know Felix Schoeller is our programme for (placement) students. This has enabled numerous placement students and students doing their Bachelor’s, Master’s or other degrees to find a way into working life at Felix Schoeller.
We regularly suggest or support topics suggested to us by students from a wide variety of subject areas. Regardless of whether the work is in the field of business administration, natural sciences or technical work – support at Felix Schoeller is always professional and individual. Naturally this also applies to our placement students: we offer students placements of eight to twelve weeks. During this time, you will look after projects independently or will be fully involved in the daily business of the relevant department, e. g. in Engineering, in Production, in Quality Control, in Controlling or in our Marketing department.
We also offer school pupils the opportunity to get a taste of lots of the company’s areas of business so they can form an impression of the job descriptions and of the company.
As of 2013 Felix Schoeller is official supporter of the Deutschland-Stipendium (Deutschland scholarschip). Main goal is to get in touch with outstanding students and thus in the long term to recrute highly qualified employees, especially with an engineering (e.g. paper or electrical engineer) or commercial university background. In addition it helps to strengthen our contacts with local universities.
In addition to the awards, Felix Schoeller actively supports the Fördergesellschaft der Fachhochschule Osnabrück e.V. This non-profitmaking association has made it its goal to promote, both in terms of ideas and materially, the teaching and research at the Fachhochschule Osnabrück at its sites in Osnabrück and Lingen.
